1. Make a site or blog

A blog:
A blog is an easy to use website in wich you can share your ideas and thoughts to the rest of the world. Setup takes about 5 minutes and you can practically begin posting right away. A good blogsite is http://www.blogger.com/ and it is absolutely free to use.
Readers can leave their comments providing an easy communication between the writer and the readers.

A usefull tool is "Blogger for Word", a free add-in for Microsoft Word. This add-in allows users to save a Microsoft Word Document directly to a Blogger blog, as well as edit their posts both on- and offline. A blog is the most user-friendly site you can make and you can put advertisements on it. More about this in next posts about making money with ads.

Website:
For making a website there are two approaches, you can either build one yourself, or you can partially make one yourself. The difference between the two is that making a website on your own will cost you a lot of time and work because you need to understand the use of html. A good site to learn this is http://www.make-a-web-site.com/

To make a website you need a host. Rather then using a free host for your site you should make your own domain (yoursite.com). There is a reason why some hosts are free and that is because the support is just awful. Believe me on this one, I tried it and there was little to none support.

A web host, one that is not free, provides you tools, space and good support to help make your site succesful. These host will charge you a few dollars a month depending on how much space you need and what services they provide. When looking for a host search the web and evaluate them. The price range will be between 1$ to as much as 250$ a month

You can search for a host right here or look for one yourself http://www.findmyhosting.com/

Price, reliability and costumer support are the key words. Also the tools they provide for making your site can either make it easy, or give you headaches.
